Pulag Again

One year after I went up Pulag and I'm up there again,
Of course a trip would not be complete without pictures,
But I'll just show one, I think I'll call it "Mountain Island"

It was a relatively easy climb, and the campsite we took was near the peak so we were able to go up early to catch the sunrise...
yeah yeah, I went up to see a sunrise and what do I get?

Still, it took my breath away :)

Mixed up?

Somewhere, somehow, there has been a pretty bad mix up...

A few bumps ahead....

Just when what you really really want is within view, you find out that its an uphill climb, full of crazy slopes and loose rocks that you just gotta thread through. *heh* It's an uphill climb alright, but I don't mind, besides, a mountain ain't worth squat if it ain't high... *heh*

Famy Getaway...

Went to another hike last saturday, weather was perfect, trail was kinda abused already but "trekkable" nevertheless, this is one of the sights that make this place famous...

Anyhoo, the weather kinda went sour on the way back, and our decision was based on either we get wet or we wait till the rain stops and hike at night... we didn't have flashlights so the choice was kinda easy...
My shoe, after i took off most of what stuck to it.... mud mostly...

Don't they hire translators?

I found this a couple of days ago, I usually go to the nearby convenience store during lunch breaks to by myself a drink, and what I'd do is I'd just rush into the store, open the fridge, and grab the drink so I can pay and leave, well, I saw part of the tagline in my periphery and thought... hey! "Cannot Seen" doesn't make a sentence...



Well, to give them credit, at least they got the point across.... :P

This movie is so bad that it inspires me to write a blog entry about it, so there... don't watch it! I warned you......

Uy, Koreano o....

I was chatting with a friend while driving along a mountainside when I sorta asked out of the blue "It's a good thing we don't have forest fires in the mountains...". My friend was quick to quip "What forest?", that reply made me glance at the side and what I saw was an almost barren mountainface, except of course for a few lonely trees here and there... funny, true, and sad...
Anyhoo, In a lighter note, people mistake me for a korean... parking lot guards speak to me in english, you can see them trying really hard to, people think im a korean tourist when we go out of town AND speak to me in choppy english, and my favorite is when people greet me "good morning" and I greet them back in "magandang araw po" and they give me that surprised look! wahaha :D
Im a korean lookin' chinoy speakin' chinoy (whatever that means)...
