Charlie brown while taking his lunch and sees the little red haired girl that he likes on the other side of the playground, he mentions to himself: "Why doesn't the little red haired girl ever notice me? It's because I'm nothing, how can anyone notice something that is nothing?" haha, now don't we all have our own little red haired girl...

uh...
i think the point was that charlie brown has an inferiority complex. (which, in truth, was passed on to him by his creator charles schultz.) the way he describes himself as "nothing" is telling enough. makes me really sad :( especially since i know such people really do exist :(
yes, that too.
but of course that's looking at it in another viewpoint.
